Welcome to ShutUpTimMcCarver.com, the internet home for frustrated baseball fans forced to endure Tim’s many “McCarverisms” every Saturday afternoon on FOX.  This site was started as a goof during the 2004 ALCS and since then has become a destination for baseball fans and Tim-haters everywhere.

Back in 2005 we launched a Google-bomb campaign where people linked the phrase “awful announcer” to Tim’s own website.  It was a huge success and searches for awful announcer brought McCarver’s site up first every time.  Since then Google has tweaked their algorithms to make Google-bombing impossible so now we show up towards the top of serach results for “awful announcer.”  try it yourself sometime.

Before you write this site off as a joke it should be noted that we’ve been written about in the NYTimes and LATimes and McCarver has even been asked about us.  His response?  “No one starts ILoveThisGuy.com.”  We disagree and think there are thousands of fan sites out there.  Just another McCarver gem.  Like this one which might be our all time favorite:
